The Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba is looking to hire some help for next month’s Royal Manitoba Winter Fair.
Individuals interested in helping to prepare and to close the Fair, which is scheduled to run from March 28 – April 2, 2022 at the Keystone Centre, are encouraged to drop off a resume at the Dome Building or by sending to ops@provincialex.com this coming week.
Those hired will be expected to assist in both loading and setting up and tear down of equipment as required by the Provincial Exhibition. The term will be for approximately three weeks of work (based on 30-35 hours per week).
The temporary staff will be directly supervised by the Operations Manager, who will work at the same locations and will have daily contact with the Operations crew.
Among the qualifications required to apply include such things as a commitment to work between the hours of 8 a.m. – 10 p.m., perform physical tasks, be comfortable around animals as well as the ability to safely drive small equipment such as golf carts and small tractors. Forklift certification would be beneficial but not a requirement.
Successful candidates must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends.
