Spotlight on Manitoba’s Lamb Producers
Back by popular demand, the Sheep Show is a growing feature of Manitoba AG EX in proud partnership with the Manitoba Sheep Association. Visitors can enjoy sheep shearing demonstrations, live exhibits of top breeds, and the ever-popular EweMania program for schools.
In 2024, the show introduced facial recognition technology for sheep, a first in the province, highlighting Manitoba’s innovation in small ruminant agriculture.
Where Education Meets Agriculture
MooMania is a hands-on, educational experience designed for students in Grades 3 to 5. With a mix of fun and learning, students explore the life of a cow, from the barn to the dinner table, while gaining a deeper understanding of the beef industry, food production, and environmental sustainability.
Highlights include a tour of the cattle barns, mock cattle shows, live auctions, and interactive stations on the business and benefits of beef. This unforgettable experience leaves kids inspired, informed, and excited about agriculture.
