Fantastic food, family fun, entertainment, and the thrill of the midway! The Manitoba Summer Fair is how we’ve been kicking off summer in Manitoba for over 135 years!

The Manitoba Summer Fair has been a social gathering in Western Manitoba for over 135 years, featuring entertainment and community celebration. Treat the family to thrilling Midway rides, entertainment stages, KidZone, Ag Awareness area, horse shows, trade show vendors, and a demolition derby. Summer fair offers something for every age!

Miniature Horse competitor


Saturday and Sunday the stakes are high with the compelling Miniature Horse Show and Hackney Horses. The Manitoba Summer Fair is dedicated to supporting the competitors – both human and horse! Those who haven’t seen the Minis or the Hackney Horses compete, are in for a real thrill!

There is so much more to do in between midway rides and the mouth-watering food during the Manitoba Summer Fair. A must-see is The Hockey Circus Show, Aaron Mathews Magic, Wagon Rides, Traveller’s Day Parade and we are still planning for more. Check back often for updates.

You’ve tried the rest, now ride the best. North American Midway Entertainment (NAME) brings Brandon’s largest midway with new exciting rides to Majorland and Kiddieland. In 2019, NAME was proud to showcase its array of spectacular rides, games, and food at 13 of North America’s 50 largest fairs and at over 130 other events.

NEW this year – Market at the Dome! Friday 2pm-8pm and Saturday 10am-5pm. Vendors include those selling crafts, makeup, jewelry, woodworking, honey products, beef jerky and much much more. You’ll see vendors from Westman, northern Manitoba, Saskatchewan and the City of Winnipeg. Entry is included in your gate admission.
