These changes bring a mix of fresh perspectives and seasoned leadership, ensuring continued success in agricultural education, event management, and community engagement.

New Leadership Appointments & Roles

Kristen Laing Breemersch – Manager of Operations & Acting General Manager
Kristen has been an integral part of the Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba since 2018, previously serving as Program and Volunteer Manager before transitioning into Operations Management. With over six years of experience with the organization, Kristen has played a key role in the success of major events, overseeing programming, coordinating volunteers, and enhancing operational efficiency.

In addition to her extensive experience with the Provincial Exhibition, Kristen has spent 25 years running a beef, hay, and grain farm alongside her husband. She is also deeply passionate about agriculture education, having worked for the past two years in collaboration with the Canadian Museum in Ottawa to develop the new ‘Soil and Superheroes’ exhibit, which will debut at the 2025 Royal Manitoba Winter Fair.

“One of my greatest passions is helping young people understand where their food comes from and how agriculture plays a vital role in our daily lives,” said Laing Breemersch. “I’m excited to bring new educational opportunities to the Provincial Exhibition and continue growing our impact in the community.”

Her enthusiasm for building relationships and engaging sponsors will be instrumental in growing the Provincial Exhibition’s community partnerships.

Kaila Lapointe – Tradeshow & Venue Coordinator

Her expertise in managing logistics and connecting with people makes her a great fit for overseeing trade shows and event bookings. She looks forward to meeting vendors, exhibitors, and community partners to help create outstanding events.
