Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba Launches Spooktacular Halloween Contest

September 29, 2021

Calling all Ghouls and Boils! The Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba is inviting you to participate in a free-to-enter Halloween yard decorating contest!

In addition to hosting the 2021 Manitoba Ag Ex at the Keystone Centre, we’re inviting families across western Manitoba to dress up their yards for Halloween for a chance to win the first ever Provincial Ex “Festival of Frights” Halloween yard decorating contest. By doing so, one lucky household will win a Royal Manitoba Winter Fair prize package that includes four complimentary passes to the 2022 RMWF, a $75 gift certificate from Joe Beeverz, and a $100 gift card compliments of Home Hardware Brandon.

Entering the contest is easy and available to anyone! To enter, families simply need to take a photo of their Halloween-themed yard, email it to info@provincialex.com or post it on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, using the hashtag #ProvExFoF2021.

The Provincial Exhibition “Festival of Frights” yard decorating contest is a free-to-enter, COVID-19 friendly initiative to encourage western Manitobans to “frighten up” the exterior of their homes with family-oriented Halloween decor.

The contest, which officially begins Saturday, October 2nd, is open to all western Manitoba residential properties, with the winner to be announced on Monday, November 1st, 2021.
While next year’s Royal Manitoba Winter Fair is scheduled to run from March 28th to April 2nd, Manitoba Ag Ex, which is Manitoba’s largest all breeds cattle show will be held fro October 27th – 30th at Brandon’s Keystone Centre.
