The Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba’s Rhonda Woytkiw takes home Canadian Fair Champion award at this years CAFE AGM and Convention in Regina.
Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba Financial Controller, Rhonda Woytkiw, was recognized by the Canadian Association of Fairs and Exhibitions (CAFE) at their AGM and Convention in Regina, SK. She was the recipient of the 2021 Canadian Fair Champion award at the awards ceremony held last night.
Rhonda has been with the Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba for nearly three years and has played a crucial role within the organization during her time here. Her hard work and commitment to the Provincial Exhibition during the COVID-19 pandemic has helped ensure that our organization could withstand these difficult times.
She has worked tirelessly and has taken on many roles within the Provincial Exhibition, at times being the only employee on staff during the pandemic. She is an exceptional person, both professionally and personally. We are enormously grateful to have her as part of our leadership team.
CAFE holds it’s largest meeting once a year at different locations across Canada. As part of the convention there is an awards night where volunteers and employees within the major events industry are recognized for their hard work and dedication.
According to the CAFE website the Canadian Fair Champion award is an award to recognize that “someone special” who goes the extra mile for your fair organization or agricultural society. It gives examples such as someone who always steps in when needed and/or has supported the community through another difficult pandemic year. You can nominate a volunteer of staff member. It was awarded last night, the Thursday evening of the convention, which started on Wednesday, November 17th and runs until this evening, Friday, November 19th, in Regina, SK.
We would like to formally congratulate Rhonda on receiving this award! She is more than deserving and we are so proud to be able to recognize her on a national level.
