BMO celebrated a time honoured tradition with the Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba and the hard working farm families of Manitoba, by announcing its 2022 Farm Family Award winners.
The BMO Farm Family Awards recognize the impressive contributions to the agriculture community across the province and they are an exciting opportunity to come together and celebrate these exceptional families.
This year’s recipients include the Baron Family from Carberry, the Cavers Family of C2 Charolais, the Donohoes of Brandon, the Hunter Family of Diamond T Limousin, the Wiebe Family of Beavercreek Farms and the Jameson Family of Brandon.
All six award recipients demonstrate a strong commitment and passion to the agricultural way of life. They excel at building their businesses with a focus on new technology, efficiencies and sustainability to grow and produce their best and actively volunteering within their respective communities.
Presentations were made to the six families during a Thursday afternoon luncheon at the historic Dome Building during day four of the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair. The six families were also recognized during the evening performance of the Fair at Westoba Place.
BMO has a longstanding history of supporting Canada’s agricultural community. Celebrating these families for their pioneering spirit and wise stewardship of our resources is just one way that they show their gratitude.
The Provincial Exhibition meanwhile takes price in supporting agriculture in Manitoba, including recognizing local farm families with this partnership. The Provincial Ex values and appreciates their efforts to become involved in as many communities that make up this province.
