BRANDON, MB – The 2026 Manitoba Summer Fair is bringing a new level of midway excitement to Brandon as North American Midway Entertainment (NAME) announces the Canadian premiere of two major attractions: Downdraft and Super Miami.
Taking place June 3–7 at the Keystone Centre grounds, the Manitoba Summer Fair will be the first place in Canada where guests can experience both rides, adding two new headline thrills to one of Manitoba’s favourite summer traditions. Together, these two new attractions represent a combined value of approximately $2.5 million, making this a truly exciting midway presentation and a rare opportunity for Manitoba fairgoers to be the first Canadians to experience rides of this calibre first.
Two First-in-Canada Rides Arrive in Brandon
Downdraft is a fast-moving circular thrill ride that lifts riders into the air while spinning them outward, then sends them through sudden dips and drops that create a floating, free-fall sensation. With quick changes in height, speed, and motion, Downdraft is built for fairgoers looking for an adrenaline rush.
Super Miami brings a different kind of midway energy, seating riders together on a wide, multi-passenger platform that surges, swings, and dives through wave-like motion. The result is a high-energy ride that combines height, speed, music, and lights for a big visual impact on the midway.
Together, the two attractions mark a major addition to NAME’s Manitoba Summer Fair midway and give Brandon fairgoers the first opportunity in the country to ride them.
