Brandon, MB — May 29, 2026 — The Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba is reinforcing its commitment to providing a safe, welcoming, and family-friendly experience for all guests attending the 2026 Manitoba Summer Fair, taking place June 3 to 7, 2026 on the Keystone Centre grounds in Brandon.
As one of Western Manitoba’s largest summer events, the Manitoba Summer Fair continues to prioritize public safety while creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for fairgoers of all ages. In preparation for this year’s event, the Provincial Exhibition has strengthened partnerships with the Brandon Police Service, Bluejay Guard Security, and Waywayseecappo First Nation Safety Officer Program to further enhance security operations throughout the fairgrounds.
Enhanced security measures, including full soft body scanning technology at entrances, will continue to be implemented throughout the 2026 Manitoba Summer Fair to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all guests. These measures are part of the fair’s ongoing commitment to proactive event safety while maintaining an efficient and positive guest experience.
“The safety of our guests, exhibitors, staff, volunteers, and partners continues to be one of our top priorities,” said Tim Rowan, President of the Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba Board of Directors. “We want families and visitors to feel confident when attending the Manitoba Summer Fair, and we are proud of the work being done alongside our security partners to ensure a positive and safe experience for everyone.”
The Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba will continue working closely with the Brandon Police Service, Bluejay Guard Security, and Waywayseecappo First Nation Safety Officer Program throughout the event. Additional safety officers and trained personnel will be present during peak attendance periods to support crowd management, guest assistance, and proactive safety measures across the fairgrounds.
Following a successful 2025 Manitoba Summer Fair with minimal incidents reported, organizers are confident in the continued strength of the fair’s safety operations and remain focused on building one of the safest and most enjoyable summer events in Canada.
The Manitoba Summer Fair features five days of midway rides, live entertainment, agricultural events, horse shows, family attractions, fair food, and community celebration. Organizers encourage fairgoers to review event information, arrival procedures, and security guidelines ahead of attending.
