Become a Shareholder of the Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba
The Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba is a community-driven, volunteer-led organization with a long history of agricultural celebration, education, and economic impact. Becoming a shareholder means joining a group of dedicated individuals who believe in strengthening our exhibitions, supporting our youth programs, and preserving Manitoba’s agricultural legacy.
What It Means to Be a Shareholder
Shareholders play an essential role in guiding the future of the Provincial Exhibition. While our structure is unique, it reflects our commitment to community leadership and fair representation.
Key features of shareholder membership include:
- One Vote Per Shareholder: Every shareholder holds an equal voice. Regardless of the number of shares you own, each shareholder receives one vote at meetings.
- No Dividends Issued: As a non-profit organization, the Provincial Exhibition does not issue dividends. Your support directly strengthens our events, youth initiatives, and community impact.
- Volunteer Governance: The President, Vice-President, and Board of Directors receive no remuneration. Our leadership is entirely volunteer-based and driven by passion for community development.
- Board of Directors: Directors are elected by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting.
- The Board consists of a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 50 directors.
- Every director must also be a shareholder.
- Shareholder Meetings: Official notices of shareholder meetings are provided at least 14 days in advance through both direct mail and publication in a Brandon newspaper.
Shareholder Applications
We are now accepting online applications to become a shareholder, please fill out the online form by November 26th, 2025. Physical applications are available at the Dome Building.
Please note that all applications must be pre-approved by the current Board of Directors at the pre-AGM Directors’ Meeting. Individuals wishing to become a Director must first be approved as a Shareholder.
The next Shareholders Annual General Meeting is scheduled for November 27th, 2025 at 7:30 PM.
Important: Only one Share per Shareholder.

I hereby subscribe for (1) one capital stock of your association and enclose, herewithin, my credit card information for same at $10.00 per share, or will pay with cash (in-person), via cheque (in-person or mail), or via e-transfer.
